When Jesus walked the earth, he modeled for us the supernatural lifestyle of the believer. He lived in an awareness of the enemy but not in reaction to his schemes. He instead lived in constant responsiveness to The Father. He did not engage the enemy on the enemy’s terms; he engaged the person in front of him and brought heaven’s terms into their lives. He lived and walked the earth as we do, but His mind, thought life and focus were first and foremost Heaven, and bringing it to earth. Even in the way He taught us to pray… “On earth as it is in heaven…” (Matthew 6:10)
THIS IS THE MODEL TO REIGN IN OUR CHRISTIAN LIFE…
For us to walk this way does not come natural. We naturally walk in shame, fear, busyness, religion, self-centeredness, judgment and distraction among many other things. Those things are from the enemy of our souls, and we spend an enormous part of our daily lives reacting to those very things. They influence our lives, until we choose otherwise. Christian Faith is so much more than salvation. The resurrected life is not restricted for after physical death, it is for us now! We need to take the scripture at it’s word and “work out our salvation in fear and trembling,” (Philippians 2:12) in unison with Holy Spirit and learn to live in resurrection power NOW! We must choose the higher, more excellent way. We are a NEW CREATION in Christ!
Ephesians 2:10 says “we are God’s workmanship…” He sees who He created us to be, and knows how to manifest that in us by resurrection power that lives in us as saved believers. The word workmanship in Greek is where we get the word “Poem.” As Father looks at your life, (good, bad, and otherwise) He sees a work of poetry that He is authoring through relationship. Our cooperation is required, our seeking is necessary, and being teachable disciples is mandatory as He leads us in Spirit and in Truth.
One of the best ways to walk in Spirit and Truth is in the scripture. To approach the Bible as not just a history book of facts, but as the Living, Breathing Word it is. On that note, I felt led to share a “Poem” that I wrote based on Psalm 46. As I read it, and read it again. I asked Holy Spirit to bring life to it and then I wrote what I felt and saw. I wrote this poem exactly one year ago today, in a time when The Father was asking me to “Just Be Still.”
PSALM 46ish
There is a place of safety,
A shelter fixed and strong.
When the landscape changes quickly,
And everything seems wrong.
When the earth moves beneath your feet,
And high places are brought low,
Chaos unleashes – designed for defeat,
Pride and arrogance throw,
Hateful accusations – demanding retreat.
There is only one place to go.
Arise to the Holy City,
Where sacred streams provide!
A refuge from dark chatter,
Go on – Ascend – Abide!
God lives in the midst of her,
She seeks Him at first light,
She walks with Him throughout the day,
And kisses Him goodnight!
To linger in His city,
Where presence rules and reigns,
Births a sensual infusion,
To break off every chain.
As striving loses strength,
Submitting to surrender.
The urgency of madness,
Yields to holy splendor.
Inside every ascended moment,
In every splash and swim,
Dark foundations crumble,
Construction can begin.
The elegance of peace,
Imparted deep within.
Set stones of Holy Joy,
Upon sacrifice of praise.
Framed by ancient words,
The sacral structures raised.
No longer just a visitor,
Transformed by time and choice.
This city I now carry,
A whole vessel for His voice!
As nations rage and kingdoms falter,
The LORD of Hosts leads way,
Followed by the Sons of God,
His Glory they display.
The snares of their foe,
Will fall in the fight,
Spears will shatter – chariots burn
Darkness cannot rule light.
The God of Jacob rules,
Generations must align,
Exalt Him in the earth,
They carry His grand design.
They know their place of safety,
Their Strong Shelter has been defined!
They put their feet upon the earth,
Declare what He’s assigned.
An army of ascended warriors,
Who knows how to Be Still!
With eyes to see the battle,
Abandoned to His will
Can light the way for others
A city on a hill!

The enemy of your soul wages war on your mind, will and emotions. Heaven asks you to Be Still and Know that He is God. In the stillness we learn to respond Only to the Father and truly bring Heaven to earth!
On this day, May 1, 2025, we recognize a National Day of Prayer in the United States of America. As a nation we are seeing and feeling new hope for our future. We must not let up, we must not grow weary, we must press in. We are His people, His workmanship, His stewards of this land. May we live in response to Our Good Good Father!
2 Chronicles 7:14 (Amplified Version) My people, who are called by My Name, humble themselves, and pray and seek (crave, require as a necessity) My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear [them] from heaven, and forgive their sin and heal their land.
Blessings
